I more than most know the differences between being a head coach and an assistant.

IMO it is much harder to be a good assistant for the reasons you just mentioned. You can make suggestions but the head coach may not choose to take them. You also have to adopt a coaching style that may not be your own as well as teach skills in a way that you may not have chosen to do.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
