things had to happen.
1. Kobe had to become a solid SEC starter.
2. All of the transfers had to produce at or near the levels they did last season.
3. The freshmen had to give us good reserve minutes.
To this point:
1. Kobe has been better than I expected, but can he keep putting up solid numbers as the competition gets better? We have played two P5 teams so far and he has averaged less than 10 ppg against them.
2. Davis and Coleman are both about 7 points below their numbers from last season. DeGray and Gordon are putting up similar numbers.
3. It is early yet but so far Keita has been the only freshman who has given us good minutes. Brookshire has looked lost most of the time and Brazile has not played enough to know for sure.
* Wilmore would not see the court for any other P5 team in the nation.
