that. He didn't do himself any favors by listening to Alden's advice of distancing himself from Norm rather than embracing him.

Either way, he too would have been really good long term if we had an adequate AD and admin around that time. And I say that as someone who was HIGHLY critical of how poor the quality of play on the court was overall under Quin and as someone who didn't think much of his coaching.
