MU last won an NCAA tournament game in 2010. Since joining the SEC in 2013 we have been the worst overall program during that full timespan, and are getting ready to be pushed further down the list with OU and UT joining. Our talent level is extremely low, and assuming Cuonzo is removed after this season there will likely be a large amount of roster turnover. There is no reason to believe a replacement will top out as anything beyond mediocre and will be inheriting a terrible situation and high levels of fan apathy and almost absent program expectations.

Its going to be years, under a best case scenario, before MU is relevant again. Its entirely plausible a 20 year window between NCAA tourney victories occurs.
