quite easily sustained long term success. Probably not to the degree some would have liked because they expected to improve upon Norm's tenure. But certainly success in relation to any definition of what actually occurred.

All three of those coaches would have been fine and had long and reasonably good careers at MU's coach with decent AD and support.
