calculate it for you. You are just trying to throw out red herrings to distract from the issues.
In any event, if one is to believe the World Health Organization regarding their studies in 51 locations when they concluded that the Infection Fatality Rate for Covid is .23% (99.77% survival rate) and the CDC's Covid death toll numbers the US is already over 98% natural immunity. If half of the population is already vaccinated and that included the 2% who presumably have not already been infected... and the vaccines actually provide effective immunity, then we would have some 99% immunity already.
Infection Fatality Rate Covid-19
WHO study:
Infection fatality rate of COVID-19 inferred from seroprevalence data John P A Ioannidis
https://www.who.int/bulletin/volumes/99/1/20-265892.pdf
Findings
Across 51 locations, the median COVID-19 infection fatality rate was 0.27% (corrected 0.23%)...
Conclusion: ... The inferred infection fatality rates tended to be much lower than estimates made earlier in the pandemic.
-----------
Infection Fatality Rate (IFR) X # infected = covid deaths
# infected = covid deaths / IFR
# infected = 755,017 / .0023
# infected = 328,268,260
328,268,260 infected / 333,656,939 US population
= 98.38% of the US has already been infected with covid
------------
Unfortunately, we can't really trust the CDC's statistics regarding the number of covid deaths, of course, but we see that the number of covid deaths has dropped pretty dramatically and it is probably safe to say that we have already achieved some level of herd immunity.
