That is just a scientific fact.

The only role that religious beliefs play in this would be the first premise in this syllogism:

1. Intentionally killing an innocent human being is always wrong.

2. Direct abortion is always the intentional killing of an innocent human being.

3. Therefore direct abortion is always wrong.

Do you reject the first premise?
