I do think you hit the nail on the head...CM needs to have a good season - far exceeding expectations.

I don't know if he can do it with this roster. So little experience coming back, and so many newcomers that were not very highly sought after recruits. Maybe they'll be good, but my guess is that if this is a successful season, it will be one of CM's best coaching jobs in his entire career, as the group will really mesh together well and form an identity. That was an issue last year, for sure.
