think researchers are really doing these types of studies? Don't they require groups of unvaccinated people (i.e. implicit consent for people to remain unvaccinated)?

I recall Dr. Fauci saying that a mask study with a control group of non-masked people would have been unethical to do. Are similar issues at play here?
