see it. You will have to enroll thousands of volunteers to see an effect and have to have the study period be long enough to have an event rate (number of individuals infected plus measure severity of disease) that can potentially show a difference between groups (if there is one).

Since vaccines have only been largely used for 6 months, it's going to take a few more months to collect enough data.
