And we are already seeing it with the first 100 days. Neither is pure to be sure. But the push for spending, regulation, control of business would be even greater if the dems had firm control of congress.

In nearly every election today one of two people has a real chance to win. To deny that is ignorance. To ignore the impact of today's certainty because of the hope of some future purity is, to me, a juvenile expression of some idealistic hope. While I may always push for something better down the road, I will never accept the worst of the choices today simply because I refuse to act.
