I fully understand there are those on each side of the political spectrum, particularly the two main parties, who will absolutely defend everything their side does. Even if they would rip the other side for doing the same thing they currently support. My question is about something more in the middle of this.

What are your thoughts on those who clearly see the problems with both main parties, but also realize at this time those are the two choices with any chance of governing and who see selecting the best of the potentially bad choices as practical at this time? Do you consider that selling out or do you see pragmatic benefit to that even if all one is doing is working to slow the rate of decay?
