Why are Michigan and Ohio St considered big time programs? Because of a population base and an insistence on being good at football.

How did Bama become Bama or Nebraska become what they were in the 70's - 90's? NO GOOD FVCKING REASON WHATSOEVER BESIDES THAT THEY SIMPLY DEMANDED IT.

There is no viable reason on earth that Alabama is a college football monster and Mizzou is not other than the fact that Alabama decided that they wanted to 60-70 years ago, and did what it took. While Mizzou always just took a gee that would be nice approach but we're not going to actually do anything to make it happen.

We didn't because nobody demanded that we do.
