Towards the end of his tenure at Mizzou, Warren Powers was widely considered to have a drinking problem. There was a good deal of gossip about Powers attempting to speak at various public functions while intoxicating and how it embarrassed the University Administration and alums.

As a coach, Powers had one losing season, his last season.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
