A&M level bad.

It took us back 6-7 years to Bob Stull.

And the previous week we lost 52-14 to A&M. The week before that, we lost 37-0 to an above-average 7-win Oklahoma team.

We went 1-7 in the Big 12 in 99, then 2-6 in 2000.

Our only wins coming against terrible Baylor and OSU and a mediocre Texas Tech team.

We went 3-15 in Smith's last 18 Big 12 conference games.

Within 7 years... Pinkel took Mizzou from losing every single Big 12 North game they played, to winning every Big 12 North game they played.

Nobody credits him for it, but the truth is that part of the struggle that Colorado, K-State, Kansas, Illinois, Nebraska and Arkansas have experienced is due to Pinkel locking down the Mizzou borders and then beating the **** out of them on the field.

It raised our program while simultaneously devaluing theirs.
