... what he accomplished in 97 and 98 was totally wiped out and gone and we were right back to Bob Stull levels in 99 and 2000.

Our recruiting was in horrible shape and there was nothing left in the cupboard.

Here is how bad Larry Smith had the program. These are the last 11 games we played against Big 12 opponents before he got fired:
