era than it is today. Almost every American city had a high-quality AA high school that graduated kids who went on to be professionals and civic leaders.

The Great Society programs are one of the greatest bait-and-switch scams ever sold and AAs are still buying it over fifty years later. The Great Society programs were not designed to help AAs it was designed to keep them down.

I will give them props though. Going out and getting the AA ministers to support them was a stroke of genius. The only real leadership in the community that could fight the programs was not only neutered they were actually turned into assests against their own communities.
