Floyd was clearly resisting when they tried to get him out of his car and while they attempted to cuff him. If he was calm sitting on the sidewalk, he should have been capable of sitting in the back of the patrol car. By that time a crowd was gathering. Do you believe there was no breathable air in the patrol car? IMO, the cops acted responsibly and treated Floyd with kid gloves. He was a convicted felon and his rap sheet included violent crimes, as well as narcotics crimes.
