I will never understand people who go through life believing others are in control. You did not have a right to that particular job just because you wanted it and believed you were the best candidate. Obviously you were not because they chose someone different. Your example is like me complaining that I am not an NBA point guard. In the Lakers opinion I am not the best man for the job just like you were not in your example. Move on to choice #2.
