STL has always had a coaching base that wanted Mizzou coaches to come and kiss their rings. It's the opposite in other places like Dallas and Atlanta.
Has always felt like Mizzou in STL is like a very fragile plant that needs constant attention and care or it automatically dies. Winning is like a shot of Miracle Gro, but ultimately it never reaches a level where it can take care of itself.
That said, the level of players that STL is putting out these days is deeper and better than ever before. If Mizzou could get most of them, it would transform the program.
