of one particular law, we are talking about the inconsistency in enforcement of different laws. In other words, where the police pick and choose which laws to enforce.

You're okay with police officers not enforcing 1 MPH over the posted speed limit.

You're not okay with police officers not enforcing new state restrictions on guns.

You're inconsistent in enforcing the law.
