Less than half of Americans pay federal income taxes. But you expect me to believe that every American is going to pay $3000 for their health care.

Sorry, not buying that. Let's assume that I will have to pay for my family and one other. $24k is almost one fourth of our family income. That would have a major impact on our lives and what exactly would we be getting for it? Poorer quality health care than we are already getting.

No thanks, I will keep my current plan and the $24k.
