They'll be used for quarterfinals in games that matter and will sell out. The vast majority of bowls don't do that now. Most struggle. Many are owned by ESPN just for the purpose of providing programming that ESPN can sell. They could even rotate the venues from year to year as long as the location meets the standards for facilities, like total attendance capabilities, etc. It will increase bowl attendance and excitement.
