First, affirmative action is only enforceable in government agencies or businesses, or regulated by them. Has no effect on private business.
Second, guess who the biggest beneficiary of affirmative action is? Yup, white women.

Have you ever worked at a place that enacted affirmative action? I haven’t, because I saw few black people and even fewer who got promoted, despite performance.
