obvious solution to the problem is a return to efficient practices that worked in the past, as well as improved employee supervision. Not elimination of USPS. Elimination of localized services rarely improves local service. Maintaining the mail service is one of the few responsibilities delegated by the constitution to the federal government. A review of the budget indicates federal expenditures have been diverted to a host of nonmandated activities.
