hacking of the dnc emails.

Stone found out about it after it was done. He did not direct nor was he involved with the actual hack.

It is not illegal for Stone to ask for the hacked emails. Newspapers have published hacked emails in the past as well as other information that was "stolen".

If Stone can't be charged for receiving the information, the administration official can't be charged for asking for it.
