It's all about relationship building and trust. To think all players just want to go to schools because they are already winning championships is operating with blinders. Some players want to go where they can be a part of helping to create that culture. UConn wasn't always the championship model but became that. Villanova recently, Florida in the 2000s. It took the right coaches building that reputation. Sure it takes a little time but I don't see why that can't happen with Mizzou.
