There are a whole lot of reasons they could lose a top 100 to SLU in any particular year. In this argument SLU is to a much greater degree confined to an area whereas Mizzou has a whole state. There could be a top 100 player in the same year from St. Louis and somewhere else in the state. The roster and need could dictate Mizzou value the state player over the local player. The same could hold true for the recruit seeing a better opportunity at SLU over Mizzou. IT won't mean a thing.
