Whatever Cuonzo ends up building at MU, it won't be realized this season and its not reasonable to expect him to solve all the issues facing the program in one offseason.

The article has a similarly tired narrative of Cuonzo simply hiring Porter Sr and then just sitting back as the fortunate beneficiary of circumstance to the events that played out from there, which obviously anyone who follows the program closely knows that is silly. But this isn't an article for the Columbia paper, its readers don't follow MU basketball closely. Since its national some of that context is provided to portray the overall picture he is operating in.
