I dunno.
Is potential life...life?
I dunno.
Is disposing of them, killing them?
I dunno.
And while this has the potential to do much good, it also has the potential to do much harm.
Allow me to divert the thread slightly. I said years ago when in vitro was young and cloning was starting, that this is a very slippery slope.
Again, the potential for much good exists. That potential will be abused and used for nefarious purposes. Especially when the world is so divided and war seems always to be one madmans's mistake away.
The biggest problem I have is the embryonic stem cell stuff that essentially creates life for spare parts. That again, while having the potential for much good, is in my opinion, very bad. It is not right in my opinion.
But, you cannot unring a bell. You cannot put the toothpaste back in the tube or the genie back in the bottle. Science, and mankind's quest for more Knowledge and power, will not stop.
Perhaps to man's ultimate end.
