Whatever makes a human dead has to exists in an embryo. Does it have a heartbeat? Brain activity? Can they feel pain? Basically, what does a doctor use to declare someone dead? "Snow babies", as called lack these, so they can be discarded with respectful process.

People make "snow babies" for lots of reasons, but love for each and the ability to raise it in a family should be paramount.
