and believe some studies show it may already be on a down trend.

Some people think as we evolve and learn more about the universe there will be less "unanswered questions" that lead people to religion.

Most people can't accept not having answers to questions, religion is the "answer to everything"; people want to believe their life means something in the grand scheme.
