I don't see that swatting, alone, is a criminal act. But I certainly believe such actions should be ripe for a strong civil case with seriously steep restitutionary damages.

I feel terrible for that family, and the swatter is a really POS.

The cop should be investigated for murder, without any special blue privileges.
