But why would a government necessarily have a 'better moral code' than an individual.
It is true that a psychopath could have a twisted moral code or no moral code at all, but a government could as well, no?
The Aztec moral code included using conquered enemies for human sacrifices... ripping the hearts out of their captives to appease and honor their god(s).
Hitler's Third Reich killed the weak and the lame and any they felt were "unworthy of life".
Just because a government deems something "moral" does that make it so?
I would submit that a subjective, man-made morality is really no morality at all in the grand scheme of things... though it is certainly possible that some of those man-made moralities could at certain points in history come close to the true God-given morality, especially since it is written in our hearts.
