At every level we have no idea what we're doing or what it takes to the get the job done.

This is OJT from top to bottom, including the fans.

As for the Odom hire, we would have needed an AD willing to pay more for a HC than ANYONE ever has.

And when that wasn't happening (it wasn't) a BoC willing to step in and FIRE the AD for not interviewing the right people.

Does that level of urgency happen even at Alabama?

Maybe.

But that's what it would have taken.

BoC fires Mack, hires new AD with mandate to pay $10M for a coach. Then go from there.

It's a University and a Football Program at a university.

You expect those people to operate at that level of vision?

Instead everyone gets dragged through the mud and builds up more 'street cred' as Mizzou fans.

And we all wait for the program to magically reach the next 'hiring a Pinkel'.
