For exactly one season. He had never been a college head coach before. It just didn't make any sense. If our goal was to be good, that is. If our goal was merely to hopefully be mediocre but probably not even that, then it made perfect sense.

But we're not even going to hit that mark.

And it's going to get so much worse.

Missouri State just lost 35-0 to South Dakota.

South Carolina is not good. They just beat us 31-13 on our home field.

Purdue is looking pretty salty, they're gonna stomp us probably worse than South Carolina did.

Auburn will probably beat us by at least 6 or 7 touchdowns on our home field.

The trip to Georgia is going to be a massacre.

This is going to get very, very ugly very soon,

And it was all avoidable.
