How did any of you think this was ever a good idea? I mean, I could tell, from the moment we even started talking about hiring Odom, that it was an incredibly bad idea. Like Kim Anderson bad. Except worse because football actually matters quite a bit more than basketball, and also when you screw it up it takes longer to fix it. I absolutely knew that Odom was going to fail, and probably quite badly. So how come so many of you didn't see it? Is it the True Son thing? He just was absolutely not qualified for the job. What has he even done? Had a couple of good years as a coordinator at Memphis? I mean, how is that even close to good enough to taking over an SEC team? And our goal is to actually be good, right? Because at best he was going to be mediocre and we were going to maybe win 7 or 8 games some years. He definitely wasn't going to be "Good" like 9 or 10 wins per year "Good". Not a chance. So why are so many of you ok with that? Why did this ever seem like a good idea to anyone?
