Coach. Let's say we spent $4.5M instead of $1.8M or whatever we're paying Odom. Let's even say we spend it on someone who's only worth $3M. We're still saving money.

Think how many millions were losing in

Lost ticket sales
Lost apparel sales
Decreased enrollment at the university
Loss in bowl revenue
Etc.

All because we hired a cheap coach that's going to win less than a third of his games.

Not to mention we're going to end up paying him millions to go away after this season.

Going cheap was a huge mistake

Just as it was with Kim Anderson.

We literally could have had Gregg Marshall if we paid enough. Yeah it would have been obscene money but it still would have been way cheaper than all the money we lost by hiring Anderson and had empty stadiums for years on end and shamefully bad teams and losses.
