not. But in looking at his complete contribution to the university and beyond, I am certainly not against it. He is more than the greatest coach in our history. He is one of our top 5 basketball players ever, was a major contributor to our national championship baseball team, and was a driving force behind Coaches vs Cancer.
And How many coaches ever won 4 consecutive OUTRIGHT conference championships? In any conference?
Mediocrity? That's total bs , which you already know.
There is far more to his resume than "never made a final four"..........which should not be THE defining element of a coach's greatness in the first place.
