If he was already aware of an offer from Lorenzo to be on staff, that would completely invalidate your conclusion. And that's just one obvious reason. There could be others neither you nor I would know.

Your leaps in logic are too much. They are based upon incomplete information. MPJ has said Mizzou was number 2 on his list, which is direct conflict with the suggestion that he didn't want to play for Coach Anderson. He would not have had Mizzou as his second choice if MPJ didn't want to play for him. Those dots connect.
