He wanted to play where his dad was coach. As soon as his dad was hired I said the recruiting battle was over and he was going to Washington. Many naive people wanted to continue to believe there was still a chance for Mizzou at that point. There wasn't.

Once his DAD was hired AT UW, his decision was made. It wasn't about Kim Anderson as you describe in your fairy tale. It was about family. Lorenzo Romar is family to the Porters.

Once Romar was fired, then there was the possibility of asking out of his Letter of Intent. Not before. It is not plausible to think MPJ would be going anywhere else besides with his dad, and his dad was not walking away from his lifetime friend.

Even Stevie Wonder can see this. Why can't you?
