was fired this year versus next year because of the fact that he was losing Porter. The timeline lines up for this:

March 15th:
Gabe has a story about the Porter's coming back to Mizzou in the morning.
Cuonzo to Mizzou breaks in the afternoon.
Washington calls in Romar and fires him in the evening.
