if most of your recruits families didn't decide that Lawrence was a better place to live and relocate there, and then find an amazing job opportunity upon arriving they likely wouldn't be jayhawks. Its similarly advantageous if they have unsolvable academic or legal issues and still need a place to take the court without having to change their behavior or suffer any repercussions.
