to them totaling the entire 4 year score and then dividing by 4, rather than taking each individual seasons score adding up and dividing by 4. That is the only way the math works out.

Depending on semesters, we have different amounts of scholarship players. So they single year scores can be unevenly weighted to some degree when you add them all up and then just divide by 4.
