unlimited authority over immigration. This court completely ignored that and substituted their judgement in place of the president's.

Their job was not to rule on the content of the EO they were supposed to rule on the legality of it.

The effects of this ruling could have devastating effects on national security if allowed to stand. That is why Trump needs to rescind his EO, it makes this ridiculous ruling null and void.
