So I was just asking for clarification. I realize that vetting isn't only applied to refugees, but I don't believe they are vetted in the same way as "regular" immigrants.

My standard is not "well, it's been good for a while". I have no problem with the new administration wanting to verify and/or improve the system. My concern is whether or not a temporary ban is all that necessary. I don't know the answer to that, but from what I've read, my opinion is that the refugee process is not of high concern, but other forms of immigration certainly are.

My opinion is not based on political reasons at all. I didn't vote for Trump (nor Hillary), but that doesn't mean I can't look at actions they are taking and form an opinion based on the merits of the action rather than political leanings.
