is that vetting isn't just applied to refugees and the implication that "all is fine" is simply exactly the job of the new administration to determine.
it is, quite literally, their job.
If your standard for all US security processes is "well, it's been good for a while" or "I'm not personally aware of any concerns", then you and I can just agree to disagree.
I new administration just took office. One of the fundamental, universally agreed upon, ACTUAL legal, constitutional roles of the Fed govt is immigration policy and security thereof and we are freaking out b/c the new guy is doing what half of americans want him to do. evaluate, improve, secure.
It's political vitriol, largely.
