The company (UTX, not Carrier) is still going to move 700 other jobs from Indiana to Mexico. And the company confirmed on Thursday that it got a multiyear, $7 million package from the state of Indiana in exchange for keeping 1,000 jobs there."

Note: the 700 other jobs UTX is still moving are distinct and separate and were already planned to be moved. You're guilty of connecting these jobs to the Carrier jobs in an act of intentional dishonesty, JG.

Both Trump and Sanders repeatedly bashed Carrier during the campaign after Carrier’s parent company, United Technologies, announced in February that it would eliminate 2,100 jobs, including 1,400 at Carrier and 700 at another subsidiary called United Technologies Electronic Controls. Trump’s deal apparently saves less than half of the total jobs, the rest of which will still be going to Mexico.
