Ideally, he would've done that while still winning enough games that we don't embarrass ourselves, and rather than get fired, he would willingly retire.

But if this is a 17-win team and we bring in a new coach who holds the roster together, you've got a nice starting spot for the new guy. Probably the best situation for a first-year Mizzou coach since Norm retired.

Basically, KA is an opportunity to erase everything that's happened in the 21st century and start over.
