In hindsight, the NCAA should have vacated their 1988 National Chamionship by vacating all of their wins that season, but i dont know if they had invented that odd penalty yet. Instead, they banned them from the post-season the following season, which was actually a real penalty because they had a semi-decent team, whereas our post-season ban involved one of the worst teams in our history.
